Work details
Resposibilities :
1. Maintains effective line of communication with the hiring manager at all times and executes sales calls activities in accordance with account potential with sales teams.
2. Assist to develop list of prospective customers by sizing up opportunities for spec in.
3. Conveys and explains company policies and procedures to all customers and prospects in a positive and constructive manner. Makes recommendations to management on ways to improve sales and technical productivity and effectiveness.
4. Educates and informs customers and prospects of new products and programs through personal contact with customer personnel and Purchasing, Engineering, Research and Development, Quality Control and Production. Will also co-ordinate special engineering and
management or marketing presentations and distribute flyers and reports or other printed materials. Provides product training to the distributors at sales meetings and provides for product demand through sales development calls.
5. Assist to increases the sales volume at select accounts with sales promotions and attendance at trade shows and local shows and by active follow through on referrals.
6. In conjunction with the hiring manager, organizes and executes effective design and engineering calls and problem solving calls using appropriate company personnel, schedules effective visits to key accounts by company management personnel and makes recommendations to Marketing on new product requirements.
7. Recommends market and product changes and revisions based on potential available in the territory and developing trends.
8. Accurately scopes out length and difficulty of tasks and projects; sets objectives and goals; breaks down work into the process steps; develops schedules to align timescales with commitments; anticipates and adjusts for problems and roadblocks; measures performance against goals; evaluates results. Can attend to a broader range of activities.
9. Operates within all prescribed policies, procedures and expense budgets while maintaining a strong image of professionalism in all activities.
10. Builds relationships with customers in target companies. Connects Belden solutions portfolio
across business units and addresses issues in the customer’s business.
Requirements :
Requirement for this position is minimum Diploma with at least 8-10 years of experience in Design and installation of Structured Cable System and Signal Transmission Products and System.
Knowledge and familiarity with major networking equipment and enterprise wireless solutions provider will be a strong advantage.
The candidate must be highly self-motivated with a proven track record in performing a similar role within industry.
