Work details
Resposibilities
1. Establishment of service level safety-nets to prevent customer complaints.
2. Enhance APLL’s operational capability on a continuous basis by creating new service products and set up the delivery teams.
3. Initiate and monitor time-bound operations improvement at the worksites.
4. Identify and deploy effective and efficient service delivery tools and establishing technology leadership of APLL in the market.
5. Timely and error-free billing to the Customers.
6. Engaging Customers to initiate and implement continuous operations improvement programs (in warehousing & distribution, cargo consolidation, forwarding operations).
7. Obtain inputs from the Commercial group to develop new service products and teams to implement them.
8. Ensure that the SOPs are continuously updated.
9. Develop process quality control and BCPs (Business Continuity Plans).
10. Implement all Customer and vendor contracts with a view to prevent leakage of revenue and increase in cost of operations.
11. Timely renewal of Customer & Vendor contracts.
12. Procure 2PL services efficiently so as to minimize the cost of operations.
13. Training and development of the team leads in the Operations group.
Requirements
* Experienced in Managerial Level min. 8 years with total experience in Supply chain (3PL) industry included (Warehousing, Consolidation, Distribution, Trucking, Logistics )
* Experienced in managing numbers of Warehouse from Big company ( FMCG, Automotive, Retail, Industrial, etc like Nestle, Unilever) with thousands of items
* Has strong understanding about Finance specially for profit and loss
* Good at KPI
* Strong understanding in S.O.P Warehouse
* Experienced in dealing with 2PL/ Leasing/ Transportation vendor
* Strong in Export & Import procedure and Custom/Clearance
* Good communication in English in Business Level ( oral & Written)
* Having wide networking
