Work details
Accounting & Finance:
- Record daily accounting transactions accurately using the Accpac system
- Manage bank bookkeeping and filing of related documents
- Participate in the audit process, liaising with both internal and external auditors to ensure compliance with regulations and TP guidelines
- Process audit documents for local file preparation
- Prepare monthly financial statements and annual reports, including AP & AR balances
- Oversee petty cash management, bank statement reconciliation, and payment methods
- Manage changes in bank documents and rates, coordinating with the bank as necessary
- Maintain updated records of authorized bank signatories
- Maintain close communication with vendors and customers to reconcile payment balances
Tax:
- Handle tax invoicing, including electronic invoices (e-Faktur, e-Nova), and ensure timely submission to the tax office (KPP)
- Calculate and review VAT calculation, Tax 21, 23, 25, 26 (with 3rd party)
- Manage expatriate personal income tax matters (with 3rd party)
- Stay updated on tax issues, including NPWP and tax regulations concerning HPP
- Have a thorough understanding of tax audit processes, including engagement with KPP and procedures for tax refunds
- Communicate effectively with vendors and customers regarding Tax art. 23 compliance and related matters
- Other related duties as assigned
- Min. 3 years of experience in handling finance, accounting, and tax matters
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Tax, or Finance
- Proficiency in using Accpac software
- Proficient in business English
- Experience working at Japanese companies with direct reporting to Japanese superior
- Neat, attention to detail, discipline, and adaptability with quick response times
