Quality Engineer Staff for Automotive Parts Manufacturing

Quality Engineer Job Purpose:

Provides statistical information for quality improvement by identifying testing methods and samples.

Quality Engineer Job Duties:

• Determines quality improvement parameters by identifying statistical methods relevant to manufacturing processes.

• Establishes statistical confidence by identifying sample size and acceptable error; determining levels of confidence.

• Develops experiments by applying full and fractional factorial techniques.

• Develops sampling plans by applying attribute, variable, and sequential sampling methods.

• Analyzes data by completing hypothesis, normal distribution, and process capability analysis tests.

• Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data; making recommendations.

• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.





'• Minimum 4 year experience in manufacturing plant in the same position.

• Experience in product development field in manufacturing industry.

• Basic knowledge on technical competencies in production process, quality and engineering

• Advance level on technical competencies in product development (e.g. Product Development Cycle, Quality Requirement).

• Specific Computer Skill Competencies, such as basic knowledge in Data Processing and Presentation.





• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials and quality assurance protocols can be beneficial

• Able to speak in Japanese will be an advantage
