Procurement Manager - Logistic Service Company

Resposibilities

- The job involves effective procuring of trucking and storage and cargo/container handling services for APLL across Indonesia.

- Devise & employ effective sourcing strategies.

- Negotiate with vendors to secure most advantageous terms for APLL.

- Examine and reevaluate existing contracts.

- Discover the most resourceful and professional vendors and initiate business partnerships.

- Track & report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve procurement effectiveness.

- Collaborate with key persons to ensure clarity of the specifications and the expectations of the organization.

-  Perform risk management regarding vendor contracts.

- Control spend and build a culture of long-term saving of procurement cost.



Requirements

* 10 or more years experiences in procurement in logistic service company with aroun (3 - 5 year experience in Managerial level)

* Talent in negotiations & networking

*  Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers.

* Equip excellent computer skills, including spreadsheet and database proficiency.

* Have a experience in handling multiple vendor and create clear database

* Understand about the truck demension and shipping cost for each shipment  

* Good communication in English in Business Level ( oral & Written)

* Having wide networking
