Job Description
• Sourcing, negotiating and buying products from suppliers
• Work on administration works such as creating and follow up PO
• Checking and managing stocks
• To implement merhandising strategy in the department in line with market expectation
• To be able to foresee market growth and opportunity
• To promote best selling items in order to maximize profits. To asses performance of ranges and to maintain good relationship with suppliers
• Negotiate price and trading terms with suppliers
• Placing orders to suppliers for product based on inventory requirements
• Evaluate suppliers based on price, quality and delivery performance
• Conduct regular market surveys and analysis to stay up-to-date with the fashion and market price
• Visit suppliers regularly to examine and learn about products, services and prices
1. Min 3 years experience as merchandiser, preferably in the fashion or retail industry
2. Excellent in Marketing and Fashion Merchandising
3. Strong decision making skill
4. Ability to make presentations and report
5. Ability to work in a fast – paced, high pressure and dynamic work environment
6. Have a good sense in Fashion
7. Can work individually or in a team
